San Frediano Charme — Carmine View

A hideaway for two in the heart of San Frediano, with three windows onto the Basilica of Santa Maria del Carmine and its square. Timber coffered ceilings, stone walls and parquet floors warm the rooms; the living area includes a full kitchen and the double bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The windows were replaced in January 2026 for better insulation. Independent heating in winter, a portable air conditioner in summer, Wi-Fi and self check-in. All around are artisan workshops, trattorias and historic bars; the centre is a walk across the Arno.
